Ryan and I drove to New Mexico this past weekend so that Ryan could attend a wedding with his lady-friend and so I could attempt to purchase a vehicle from either his uncle or father. Being a private chef kind of requires the use of your own vehicle so it was time to make the investment.

Of course, we had delicious food and did some fun things in between. Here's a small accounting:

Here's Ryan happy as a clam at a popular eatery named Golden Pride in Albuquerque. Awesome breakfast burritos, fantastic late night junk food.

At the top (10,000 ft), there are a few beautiful hiking trails. This is a must in Albuquerque.

Had breakfast at Sadie's, another Albuquerque staple. Enchiladas and sopapillas for days. There's nothing like eating off a plate where every bite has the potential to push everything else off.

Inside El Modelo, beautiful souls prepare the best tamales in New Mexico. Order the tamale compuesto, it was too delicious to stop and take a picture of.
